I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
